Mila Samsonov, CPA

During my professional career, I gained significant experience in accounting, taxation, and management for manufacturing, real-estate, construction, healthcare, and other industries, as well as individuals; I have been involved in all aspects of business and accounting functions. In my 20 plus years of working in public accounting and industry fostered a tremendous opportunity to work with great businesses, meet highly knowledgeable professionals, and develop a strong understanding of business operations. I, also, found my true passion in providing tax and accounting services for individual taxpayers and small businesses. These experiences led me to become a well-rounded consultant – and a valuable asset – to all of my clients. I offer valuable expertise in the areas of tax compliance and planning, financial reporting, accounting processes, and technology consulting.

My Experience

Prior to opening my CPA practice in 2010, I served the St. Louis area as a Certified Public Accountant at Mueller Prost, PC (f/k/a MPP&W), one of the top 5 regional CPA firms, where I became instrumental in supporting the development and growth of my clients. In addition, I have held controllership and top accounting management positions for several St. Louis-based corporations (Creve Coeur Camera, Inc – CFO, The Gund Company, Inc – Controller, SunEdison, Inc – Manager of Financial Consolidations), where I was able to redesign the accounting procedures and generate sufficient time and cost savings. I have been a trusted management and tax advisor, preparing individual, partnership, and corporate tax returns since 2003.

My Credentials

I graduated from State Polytechnic University (Lviv, Ukraine) with a Master’s in Computer Sciences, and received a Bachelor’s Degree in Accountancy from Webster University (St. Louis, MO). I obtained my Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license in 2008. I am also a Certified QuickBooks Proadvisor, a Chartered Global Management Accountant (CGMA) and a Lean Green Belt, specializing in improvements of accounting processes.
